Job Description
In this role, you’ll be assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor/ Area Manager in estimating quantities of construction materials and labor needed for project biddings, and assisting the team in cost control throughout the construction process. To ensure success as a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you should be able to assist project teams in projecting overall costs of materials, labor and planning to optimize project expenditure.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to estimate the costs of materials, labor, equipment, and other resources required for construction projects.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and implementing cost control procedures to ensure that projects stay within budget, making recommendations for cost-saving measures when possible.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all project-related financial transactions, change orders, and cost-related documents.

Skills & Experience
- A degree in Civil Engineering, quantity surveying, construction management, or a related field, with good academic standing.
- Possession of or progress toward a relevant certification is a plus.
- Ideally, 2 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost estimation for small to medium-scale residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, and/or corporate projects (e.g. offices, etc.). Fresh graduates with relevant internships or coursework may also be considered.
- Willing to be trained in cost planning and creating reports on costing data.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills to perform accurate cost calculations and budget analysis.
- Ability to put together a professional presentation of figures/cost estimates.

Job Description
In this role, you’ll be assisting the Project Engineer / Site Supervisor to execute plans and drawings, coordinate with Admin and Accounting on controlling costs and facilitating collections. To ensure success as a Jr. Engineer, you should be able to seamlessly coordinate with team members and accurately report on project updates.
Roles and Responsibilities
- MONITORING AND COORDINATION
- Conduct daily/frequent site visits to monitor construction progress and address any issues
- Ensure construction is aligned with drawings and specifications
- Participate in team meetings to align in responsibilities and deliverables
- Coordinate with subcontractors and oversee quality of work
- Facilitate check-ins or meetings with clients and stakeholders, with proper documentation

Responsibilities:

The Office Engineer plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with project standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Document Management
- Establish and maintain an efficient document control system for all quality-related files, including management system, commercial reports, project warehouse reports.
- Ensure that quality documentation such as documents, drawings, RFI’s incoming and outgoing registers, is maintained.
- Be accountable for project folder set-up, folder management, formulating registries and document and drawing number allocation.
- File documents in physical and digital records and ensure appropriate storage (proper filing, indexing, and storage of hard copy and electronic documents).
- Liaise with and distributing project related information with the project team and potential external parties.
- Process and control all project documents types on a day-to-day basis in an accurate and timely manner.
- Version Control
- Manage document revisions, ensuring that the latest versions of documents are distributed and obsolete versions are removed from active use.
